Ancient Wisdom Synergized with Modern Science: The Zero-State Field (ZSF) Theory—Ternary Logic, Symbiotic Equilibrium, and Verifiable Evolution
Abstract
This paper proposes a unified cross-disciplinary theory integrating ancient Eastern wisdom (Fuxi’s Eight Trigrams, Taoist cosmology) and modern scientific principles, centered on the Zero-State Field (ZSF) as the ontological foundation. The theory is anchored in two core logics: the symbiotic equilibrium law of 1+(-1)=0 (governing the origin and stability of the universe) and the evolutionary logic of 1+(-2)\equiv3\pmod{3} (driving the sublimation of all things through the fusion of explicit and implicit states). Ancient symbolic systems are rigorously mapped to algebraic frameworks: Fuxi’s Three-Line Trigrams are embedded into \mathbb{Z}_3^3 (3-modular vector space) via a bijective group isomorphism, where trigram line flips correspond to modular-3 translational transformations. This algebraic formalization unifies Eastern philosophical concepts (Yin-Yang balance, the Three Talents of Heaven-Earth-Human) with Western linear algebra and group theory, validated through strict mathematical proofs of isomorphism and matrix representation. To verify the theory, six reproducible numerical simulations and 3D visualizations are conducted: ZSF spatial convergence to zero state, the impact of Three-Talent coupling on field coherence, dynamic transitions between explicit (s=+1) and implicit (s=-1) states, phase space evolution of the 1+(-2)=3 logic, trigram-to-ternary encoding mapping, and anti-interference performance of trigram-based ternary coding in interstellar communication. Results confirm that ZSF stably converges from random perturbations to a balanced zero state, while ternary encoding outperforms binary encoding in noise resilience (BER < 10% at high noise \sigma=0.25). Practical applications are explored across fields: tri-state logic chips (reducing 40% of transistors), dark energy harvesting systems based on the Three-Talent principle, and high-density interstellar communication encoding. The theory bridges philosophical symbolism, mathematical rigor, and engineering feasibility, offering a verifiable framework that revitalizes ancient wisdom while advancing modern science and technology. Its core value lies in demonstrating the universal consistency of "symbiosis-opposition-ultimate unity" as a fundamental law of the universe, with reproducible simulations and algebraic proofs providing a solid foundation for further interdisciplinary exploration.
