Abstract

The Jessica Jaime Paulin 50L Multifunctional Extraction Machine is a modular, scalable laboratory pilot-scale platform designed for the extraction and refinement of plant-derived products—including essential oils, floral waters, and bioactive compounds (e.g., polyphenols, flavonoids). Targeting small and medium-sized enterprises, research institutions, and farmers, it emphasizes modularity, multi-process adaptability, and scalability, bridging the gap between laboratory R&D and industrial-scale production while meeting low-threshold pilot testing needs. The core system integrates five functional modules with rigorous technical specifications: 1) A 50L AISI-316L steam distillation module (steam flow rate: 20–25 kg/h) for essential oil and floral water extraction; 2) A 500W adjustable ultrasonic cell disruptor (20–40 kHz) to enhance extraction efficiency via raw material wall-breaking; 3) A 20–50L closed-loop solvent extraction module with ≥95% solvent recovery rate for bioactive compounds; 4) A vacuum concentrator (1–5 L/h capacity) for extract and floral water concentration; 5) A PLC-based control and monitoring module with real-time tracking of temperature, pressure, and flow, enabling full batch data traceability (3-year storage).
