Autonomous Medicine in Space and Extreme Environment

Abstract

Space medicine and healthcare in extreme environments are critical enablers of long-duration human exploration beyond low Earth orbit. This paper reviews key medical challenges, enabling technologies, and Earth-based analog environments, and proposes an integrated framework for autonomous medical systems supporting future lunar and Martian missions.
