The Model of Alif: A Proposed Composite Structural Framework for the Photon.

DPID: 964

Abstract

"This concept paper introduces the Model of Alif, a novel theoretical framework that challenges the traditional point-particle view of the photon. By proposing a composite internal structure—consisting of Type 1 (Particulate) and Type 2 (Undulatory) components—this model provides a mechanical visualization for wave-particle duality. Key features of the hypothesis include: Internal Binding: The use of localized gravitational energy or 'confinement' to maintain structural integrity. Vacuum Interaction: A process by which the photon absorbs and balances virtual particles to maintain equilibrium. Temporal Lifecycle: The introduction of a 'half-life' concept for light, suggesting that photons possess distinct past, present, and future states. This paper serves as an invitation to re-evaluate the fundamental geometry of light and its interaction with the quantum vacuum."
