The BOLT-LMM software package computes statistics for association between phenotype and genotypes using a linear mixed model (LMM) [1]. By default, BOLT-LMM assumes a Bayesian mixture-of-normals prior for the random effect attributed to SNPs other than the one being tested. This model generalizes the standard "infinitesimal" mixed model used by existing mixed model association methods (e.g., EMMAX [2], FaST-LMM [3-6], GEMMA [7], GRAMMAR-Gamma [8], GCTA-LOCO [9]), providing an opportunity for increased power to detect associations while controlling false positives. Additionally, BOLT-LMM applies algorithmic advances to compute association statistics much faster than existing methods, both when using the Bayesian mixture model and when specialized to standard mixed model association.

Dengan banyaknya kertas sebgai media pencatatan data Pasien menyababkan banyak file lama yang bertumpuk sehingga menjadi tidak efisien dan efektif.untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, maka kami merancang aplikasi berbasis PHP dengan database MYSQL untuk memudahkan pelayanan pada klinik Kesehatan berbasis web dengan model devops (Development dan Operation). Sistem informasi ini sudah mencangkup segala aktivitas pelayanan yang ada di Klinik, terutama untuk proses pendaftaran pemeriksaan dan pencatatan hasil dari pemeriksaan kini sudah terintegrasi satu sama lain, sehingga dengan diimplementasikan Aplikasi ini dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi paramedis untuk menginputkan hasil pemeriksaan serta mencetak resep obat secara otomatis.

We explore whether dynamic principal component analysis (PCA) of cortical EEG amplitude or power envelopes reveals tempo and/or transient locking to musical stimuli. Using log-transformed, z-scored amplitude or power envelopes across a range of frequency bands, we project whole-cortex EEG dynamics into a low-dimensional PCA space and track trajectories over time. These trajectories exhibit stable rotations, song-specific attractors (with occasional overlap between songs), and orbit structures that vary systematically with PCA parameters (e.g., window size, Gaussian taper shape) and frequency band. We compared the tempo of several songs with the natural oscillatory tempo of PCA ring trajectories in the first three dimensions of PCA space, finding that PCA ring rate held steady around 5.14 Hz invariant to song tempo. We also explored whether transients align with sharp directional changes in PCA space, considering a wide range of spectral bands.

Semiotics, the study of signs, underpins communication and abstraction, enabling the co-evolution of language and mathematics as parametric systems. Human semiotics, tied to physicality and emotion, are complex and chaotic, with countless variable and unpredictable factors. Traditionally an academic field, this essay argues for semiotics' increasing applicability due to AI and metaverse developments, which transcend human semiotics and their physical limits. The novel 3 Semiotic Dimensions Framework-first (formulation of the sign), second (interaction with the recipient), and third (full context design)-provides a practical model for consciously implementing semiotics in design processes, emphasizing the sender's strategic role in economic enterprises. These overlapping, dynamically adjusting dimensions address chaotic communication complexities, supported by systems, complexity, and chaos theory (Gleick, 1987; Waldrop, 1992), and depart from the sender-messagereceiver model without dismissing it. The framework reflects AI's paradigm shift in human semiotics, where personalized, efficient sign systems surpass traditional frameworks like Peirce's triad (Peirce, 1931), marking an evolution in semiotics driven by human-IT communication. AI's optimization of marketing, gaming, learning, and metaverse workspaces is a semiotic process with interconnected outcomes, as shown by the PCC Framework (Kayser, 2025), which addresses ethical risks for responsible application, enabling this research to explore the implications of applied AI and its semiotic impact.

Applied Semiotics: The 3 Semiotic Dimensions and AI's Transcendence of Human Semiotics in the Metaverse

Background The escalating global demand for food and the imperative for sustainable agricultural practices underscore the critical need for efficient utilization of agricultural waste. This waste stream presents a significant environmental burden, often leading to landfill accumulation or the release of greenhouse gases through burning or anaerobic decomposition. Edible mushrooms are recognized as effective bioconverters of agro-industrial waste, offering a dual solution by transforming discarded materials into valuable food and bio-products. Their cultivation aligns with circular economy principles, converting low-value residues into high-value resources. Methods This systematic review was conducted in accordance with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) 2020 guidelines, ensuring methodological rigor and transparency. A comprehensive search strategy was developed using Boolean operators and specific keywords (e.g., "edible mushrooms," "agricultural waste valorization," "lignocellulosic waste biodegradation") across multiple scientific databases, including Google Scholar, MDPI, and Springer, supplemented by searches in PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science. Studies published in English from 2000 onwards, focusing on the valorization of agricultural waste by edible mushrooms, were included. Two independent reviewers performed study selection and data extraction, with discrepancies resolved by consensus or a third reviewer. The risk of bias for included studies was assessed using a validated tool, and findings were synthesized qualitatively due to anticipated heterogeneity.

This paper introduces a novel framework for understanding modern global conflict, arguing that the genesis of war in the contemporary era is increasingly linguistic and cognitive, rather than purely kinetic. We posit that the rhetoric of global leaders—their chosen words, strategic silences, and emotional tenor—is not merely political posturing but a direct manifestation of underlying psychological and historical forces. The paper introduces the concept of "cognitive microbes" a metaphor for ingrained mental biases, inherited historical traumas, unresolved identity crises, and ideological dogmas that invisibly shape a leader's worldview and decision-making. By analyzing the rhetoric of key world leaders through this lens, we demonstrate how these "microbes" can lead to "rhetorical inflammation," escalating tensions and precipitating conflict. Drawing an analogy to the gut-brain axis in modern science, we propose a "cognitive-microbial feedback loop" where volatile rhetoric exacerbates a leader's unstable cognitive state. As a solution, this paper proposes the "Dharmic Rhetoric" model, a framework inspired by ancient Indian statecraft that balances strategic speech with intentional silence. Finally, we suggest the development of an AI-driven analytical tool to help diplomats and leaders practice this model, fostering global stability by promoting rhetorical hygiene.

The Silent War: Rhetoric, Cognition, and Global Conflict in the 21st Century

Delik omisi tidak murni terjadi ketika seseorang yang memiliki kewajiban hukum gagal bertindak sehingga menyebabkan kerugian atau bahaya. Dalam konteks lingkungan, bentuk kelalaian ini menjadi sangat penting karena kerusakan alam sering terjadi akibat pembiaran oleh pihak yang bertanggung jawab. Penelitian ini menganalisis pertanggungjawaban pidana dalam kasus omisi tidak murni melalui pendekatan yuridis normatif dan studi kasus. Hasil studi menunjukkan perlunya reformasi regulasi serta penguatan kapasitas penegak hukum untuk menjamin efektivitas penegakan hukum lingkungan di Indonesia. Kebaruan dari penelitian ini terletak pada eksplorasi konsep Garantenstellung dalam konteks hukum Indonesia yang belum diatur secara eksplisit.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis aspek ekonomi yang berkembang di Pondok Pesantren yasinat Jember, termasuk sumber pendapatan, pola pengelolaan keuangan, serta peran ekonomi pesantren dalam pemberdayaan santri dan masyarakat sekitar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi langsung di lokasi penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pondok yasinat mengembangkan berbagai kegiatan ekonomi berbasis pesantren yang tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sumber pendapatan pesantren, tetapi juga sebagai sarana pelatihan keterampilan kewirausahaan bagi para santri. Pengelolaan ekonomi pesantren dilakukan secara transparan dan melibatkan berbagai pihak terkait untuk mendukung keberlanjutan operasional serta mendorong kemandirian ekonomi komunitas pesantren. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa aspek ekonomi pesantren memiliki kontribusi penting dalam menunjang keberlangsungan pendidikan dan sosial budaya di Pondok Pesantren yasinat. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pengembangan model ekonomi pesantren yang berkelanjutan dan memberdayakan.

This meta-analytical essay examines the economic and ethical outcomes of the European Union (EU) from 1999 to 2025, using systems, complexity, chaos, and game theory, informed by Austrian economics and anarcho-capitalism. Analyzing four regions-Northern (N-EU), Central (C-EU), Southern (S-EU), and Eastern Europe (E-EU)-it assesses GDP, inflation, cost of living, taxes, unemployment, startups, bankruptcies, crime, and EU spending. Data from Eurostat, OECD, and other sources, which this study questions critically, reveal how GDP growth, driven by government spending, masks household impoverishment. Approximately 80% food price surges (C-EU), doubled food prices (S-EU), >100% rent/fuel increases, and ~225,938 bankruptcies (2024)-potentially understatedunderline an undeniable European reality of economic failure. C-EU's €55B EU cost burden and countless corruption scandals in S-EU contrast with E-EU's low-tax growth, despite crime and ~45,938 bankruptcies. S-EU's stagnation and N-EU's relative stability highlight regional disparities. Ethically, corruption, democratic deficits, and rising crime undermine fairness, meritocracy, and accountability, while the energy consumption of N-EU, C-EU, and S-EU indicates stagnating productivity and societal progress (Jevons Paradox), unlike in E-EU, China, or India. The EU's €165.8B budget and ~470,000 corporate closures (2024) reflect bureaucratic excess detached from economic realities, which this study connects to chaos and complexity theory. Decentralization, deregulation, and detaxation are proposed for Europe's economic recovery.
